I’m looking for the art that lives in commonplaces. I express it through performance, video art and installation. My creative process is inspired by universal history, myths and everyday life. I am interested in the lifespan that man creates and what he gives to what already exists. I transform the life of things by manipulating their material, their utility and their context. I invent a story in the immediate future and I establish connections between the material and the immaterial, between the natural and the artificial. My works are re-appropriations of conventions, images, common objects, of which I manipulate the material, the function and the utility. I am looking for the modernity that lives in the old or vice versa. Any inanimate product created by man becomes for me a living body, having a function, an aesthetic and a date of expiry. The works are a mirror for the modern man and by his actions, he becomes himself an object of consumption. I see art as a parallel natural element, as a living form. My ideas always come from a daily action that I amplify, expose and heal as a unique experience.
Busco el arte que vive en lo cotidiano, en lo común y lo proyecto a través del videoarte y las instalaciones. Mi proceso creativo parte de la historia universal, los mitos y la vida cotidiana. Me interesan los procesos clonados, la existencia artificial y la durabilidad que el hombre le da a lo que ya existe. Transformo la vida de las cosas y objetos mediante la manipulación de sus convenciones, utilidad y contexto. Todo objeto inanimado creado por el hombre se convierte para mí en un cuerpo vivo, que tiene una función social, una estética y una fecha de caducidad. Las obras son un espejo para el hombre moderno, visto como un objeto de consumo. Vivo el arte como otro elemento natural, como una forma de vida. Mis ideas siempre vienen de una acción común, que amplifico, expongo y cicatrizo como experiencia única.
Je cherche l’art qui vit dans le quotidien, dans le commun des choses. Et je l’exprime à travers la performance, l’art vidéo et l’installation. Mon processus de création s’inspire de l’Histoire universelle, des mythes et de la vie quotidienne. Je m’intéresse à la durée de vie que l’homme créé et à celle qu’il donne à ce qui existe déjà. Je transforme la durée de vie des choses en manipulant leur matériel, leur utilité et leur contexte. J’invente une histoire à l’immédiat et j’établis des connections entre le matériel et l’immatériel, entre le naturel et l’artificiel. Mes œuvres sont des réappropriations de conventions, d’images, d’objets communs, dont je manipule le matériel, la fonction et l’utilité. Je cherche la modernité qui habite dans l’ancien y vice-versa. Tout produit inanimé créé par l’homme devient pour moi un corps vivant, ayant une fonction, une esthétique et une date de péremption. Les œuvres sont un miroir pour l’homme moderne qui par ses actes, devient lui-même un objet de consommation. Je perçois l’art comme un élément naturel parallèle, comme une forme vivante. Mes idées proviennent toujours d’une action quotidienne, que j’amplifie, que j’expose et que je cicatrise comme expérience unique.
